The Cinema Ultra Sub 300-THX subwoofer impressed the THX engineers, becoming the smallest woofer ever to receive THX Ultra2™ certification. This achievement is due to cutting-edge technology. The 32 cm high-performance driver is designed for a large stroke with minimal distortion. The subwoofer reaches deep bass frequencies, going as low as 18 hertz, with the help of two passive radiators of the same size and design. Alongside the newly developed 550-watt Class D power amp, these components are housed in a compact, extremely sturdy enclosure. The baffle, made from 45 mm thick MDF, effectively minimizes vibrations.
